Rose Inexperienced has been promoted to commissioning editor at Footnote Press, after becoming a member of the writer as editor in October 2022.
At Footnote, Inexperienced has been chargeable for commissioning literary fiction and non-fiction, together with the novels Chlorine by Jade Track and Mongrel by Hanako Footman, in addition to non-fiction titles Shifting Mountains: Nature Writing via Sickness and Incapacity edited by Louise Kenward and Lodge Lux by Maurice Casey.
She can be the editor for Camp! The Story of the Angle that Conquered the World by creator and educational Paul Baker, Yelena Moskovich’s new novel Nadezhda within the Darkish, and My Baby, the Algorithm by Hannah Silva, co-written with an AI.
Previous to Footnote, Inexperienced labored at Quercus’s literary translation imprint MacLehose Press, in addition to at Persephone Books and as a bookseller at numerous indie bookshops.
