Jamie Foxx is trying to clear up a misunderstanding stemming from a since-deleted social media submit that was criticized by some as antisemitic.
In a textual content submit shared to his Instagram on Saturday, the Oscar-winning actor wrote, “I need to apologize to the Jewish group and everybody who was offended by my submit. I now know my selection of phrases have brought about offense and I am sorry. That was by no means my intent.”
Foxx’s message was in reference to a previous submit, now not discovered on his feed, which learn, “They killed this dude named Jesus… What do you suppose they’re going to do to you???!” He ended the submit with the hashtags #fakefriends and #fakelove.
