Jamie Foxx is making an attempt to clear up a misunderstanding stemming from a since-deleted social media publish that was criticized by some as antisemitic.
In a textual content publish shared to his Instagram on Saturday, the Oscar-winning actor wrote, “I need to apologize to the Jewish neighborhood and everybody who was offended by my publish. I now know my selection of phrases have brought on offense and I am sorry. That was by no means my intent.”
Foxx’s message was in reference to a previous publish, not discovered on his feed, which learn, “They killed this dude named Jesus… What do you assume they’re going to do to you???!” He ended the publish with the hashtags #fakefriends and #fakelove.

In his message on Saturday, he continued, “To make clear, I used to be betrayed by a faux pal and that is what I meant with ‘they’ not something extra.
